I have worked in publishing for almost fifteen years. After cutting my teeth as a bookseller with Waterstones, I spent six years working in editorial, first at Dorling Kindersley and then in the commercial fiction division at Pan Macmillan, where I published a mix of commercial bestsellers and award-winning authors.

Most recently, I was an Associate Literary Agent at Zeno Agency Ltd. As an agent I represented a roster of commercial and literary fiction, including Anne Griffin’s When All is Said, which spent five weeks at number one in Ireland and sold into 17 territories. In 2024 I joined Hannah Sheppard at Hannah Sheppard Literary Agency as an Associate Literary Agent.

In addition to (and separate from) my agenting work, I provide advice and editorial feedback to authors. This could be anything from advice on your query letter, synopsis or opening chapters to a full review of your manuscript.
